FAQ Do I need
a partner? - Yes......and NO Jive is a partner dance so you do need a partner. Because it is a lead & follow dance it is not suitable for two beginner ladies to learn
together (with one lady dancing the mans moves) If you do
not have a partner and would like to join the course, please register your name and we will do our best to Gender balance
the class and fit everyone in.
Do I have to pay in advance? Yes
either by cheque, Paypal or cash before the course starts or when you arrive for your first lesson
What if I pre-book then change my mind? If there is a genuine reason why
you can't join the course so-be-it.......but NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE If you register your name as a lady or
guy needing a partner and change your mind at the last minute this could mean the gender balance is wrong and someone will
not have a dance partner.
Can I join in after week one? No
not really it is a four week course so if you miss the first week (or any week during the course) you could slow the class
down whilst 'catching up'
Are we qualified Jive teachers? Yes,
we have been teaching Jive for over 10 years throughout the UK, europe and even in Antigua, our largest class was 700 people
during a Jive event at Pontins Camber Sands
Is it easy to learn to jive? Yes, very easy with us. Jive is a fun dance, easy to learn, great at parties etc. and really is suitable for a beginner
to learn to dance - even those with two left feet.
Is there an age limit? Because
of our teaching format - you will get the chance to dance with others in the class, our courses are for over 16s, there
is no dress code, but smooth soled shoes are a help as there are spins & turns involved with the dance routines.
How do I sign up for the course? It is easy, to join the course or register your
name as a single lady/guy needing a partner please Email or call - details are below
