We are running a new 6 weeks jive Rock'n'Roll course for Beginners starting
Tuesday March 2nd at 7.30pm-8.15pm.
Cost of the course £36 per person payable in advance or in 1st lesson.
This includes the entry price to our Club until 11pm.

Evelyne welcomes everyone with a friendly smile
while Resident DJ Peter Phillips plays The R&R music you want to dance to

The music & dancing begins as soon as the classes are finished providing over 3 hours of non stop jiving, strolling & boppers.

We are the only R&R organisation in the UK to feature 'The R&R Picture Show' [RRPS] bringing the sights & sounds of the 50's alive - in simple terms the RRPS is concerts and archive films or dancing from the 50's plus video's of today's R&R artists.
So you can enjoy performances from the likes of Elvis, Buddy, Cliff, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Ricky Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis etc.

Just imagine, you can now watch Bill Haley playing Rock around the Clock while you are dancing to the same track. or just sit back, watch the screen & enjoy the sights & sounds of 50s Rock'n'Roll

The Classes

The beginner's class is taught as a 4 or 6 week course
(See above for start dates & times)

Rock'n'Roll Jive is a partner dance, so it is preferred that you bring a dance partner, but do not worry if you do not have a dance partner, we may be able to help, but please call us on 07767 358079.

We teach R&R with a back step (sometimes called a rockstep)
The class teaches the basic footwork and the following moves
Turn & Return
Side to side
Man walk thru
Basket wrap to the side
Crossover with hand-change
Comb & Sway
